Someone mentioned the father of the Olympian Pantheon? Huh?

Zeus is the father of the Olympian Pantheon, and you might have been talking to a Percy Jackson fan.  A pantheon is a collection of gods belonging to a particular mythology.  In the Greek pantheon, Zeus was the head honcho, and lived with his fellow gods and goddesses (and assorted demi-gods) on Mt. Olympus, which is not really atop the Empire State Building.
