Can you explain volumetric efficiency to me?

Sure thing. Volumetric efficiency is a performance measure of an internal combustion engine. It compares the actual amount of air-fuel mixture drawn into a cylinder to the maximum volume of the cylinder. Believe it or not, the volumetric efficiency can be greater than 100% in certain circumstances, such as in turbocharged engines.
