If you're a registered nurse, the Bureau of Labor Statistics says the median salary was $63,300 (2009). A licensed home health care nurse had a median income of $42,300, and a home health care nursing aide earned about $23,000 a year. Remember, median salaries are those in the middle...about half the people earn less than the median, and half earn more.
